Bantam Networks presented onstage as a winning finalist at the Launch Pad event of the Web 2.0 Expo at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. A program chaired by O'Reilly Media's Brady Forest, the Launch Pad event was MC'd by John Battelle of Federated Media and included judges Matt Marshall of VentureBeat, Marshall Kirkpatrick of ReadWriteWeb, and Anand Iyer of Microsoft BizSpark. The Web 2.0 Expo 2009 event marked the public debut of Bantam and the launch of the private-beta version.
